PT Pagatan Usaha Makmur (PT PUM), together with Dompet Dhuafa, officially inaugurated the Healthy Areas Program in two villages, namely in Jaya Makmur Village, Katingan Regency, and Satiruk Village, East Kotawaringin Regency. The program includes health-promotion and preventive activities such as non-communicable disease (NCD) education and screening, and youth health services, with support from local government, health centres, schools and community stakeholders.

By signing memoranda of understanding with village administrations and local authorities, PT PUM and Dompet Dhuafa commit to long-term, community-managed health services. The initiative aims to give lasting access to basic and preventive care in rural areas – especially around issues like hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic conditions – helping to improve public health outcomes in these regions.
