PT Pagatan Usaha Makmur (PT PUM), together with Dompet Dhuafa, officially inaugurated the Healthy Areas Program in two villages, namely in Jaya Makmur Village, Katingan Regency, and Satiruk Village, East Kotawaringin Regency. The West Kalimantan Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA), together with Yayasan Inisiasi Alam Rehabilitasi Indonesia (YIARI) and PT Hutan Kencana Damai (HKD), successfully relocated a mother orangutan and her infant from a rubber-plantation area in Tempurukan Village of Ketapang Regency due to repeated incursions into the plantation and signs of habitat disturbance.
